Business Development Executive

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role

The Business Development Executive, Training Services role is primarily focused on customer acquisition and retention activities to generate training services sales revenue to meet sales targets for our BridgingMinds training business (BridgingMinds Network Pte Ltd.). You will engage with both corporate and individual customers to propose relevant training programs and is responsible for the complete selling process from prospecting, qualification, sales closure and post-sales follow up.

This role will report to the Manager, Training Services or in the absence, to the Head of Training Services, APAC.

As the Business Development Executive, you will:

  • Prospect and acquire new customer accounts for Training Services
  • Provide information on various training programs to customers
  • Prepare sales quotations and course registrations for customers
  • Report sales pipelines and account engagement progress to the Manager
  • Meet and exceed sales targets set by the Manager
  • Participate in marketing activities to generate sales leads

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE |About you

The ideal Business Development Executive:

  • GCE A Levels/Post-Secondary or equivalent academic qualifications
  • 1-2 years corporate sales experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Prior experience in IT or Training Industry is an added advantage
  • Knowledge of/or good ability to understand the various training grants and subsidies offered by Skillsfuture Singapore
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Energetic and sociable personality
